Kevin's B-Day card!

I recv'd one of these from my good friend Debby and I showed it to my Kevin.
As soon as he saw it, he said "ooh Bell, can you make me one?"
So here it is! You can find the tutorial I did on the base construction on my older posts. Thanks for looking...and thanks again Debby!

I stamped the image on the cover but it didn't come out as dark as I wanted, so I went over it with a fine point/tip marker. I used the same marker to make the lines to look like stitches. I accented the corners with black rhinestones. I used a 1 1/4 inch binder clip that I altered to hold it closed.

Ok, I don't know why this one uploaded sideways like this but...this is what the inside looks like. I was really hard embellishing this for him...I need to challenge myself more often to do masculine projects!!! :)

So that's it for now...thanks for stopping and for leaving a comment! I appreciate all of my "blog love"! :)

  2. Thanks Becky! His football team is the Redskins and that was the closest I could come to their colors with the pp I used.
